European RPL Network

The European RPL Network is the association of national networks at European level working on the subject of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). The formation of this network was aim of a work package of the Erasmus+ project INterconnection/INnovation/INclusion: Austrian contributions to the EHEA 2030 (3-IN-AT-PLUS). This work package was coordinated by the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria).

The establishment of the network drew on partners from the already completed Erasmus+ project Recognition of Prior Learning in Practice (RPLiP) as well as on existing national networks from the partner countries. The focus of this networking association lies on the exchange of experiences and mutual learning with regard to recognition issues. This exchange is to be strengthened and institutionalized through peer-learning activities, mutual study visits and individual review visits, as well as through focused conferences. A strategic goal consists in the long-term cooperation of the project partners and the expansion of the network to further partner countries and European institutions.
